Capturing Light
These photographs were all taken around 5 at night when the sun was setting. I took all of the photographs at field hockey practice, the first one was walking back from Pottersville and the other two were taken from the turf. In the first one I was walking back to the locker room and I saw the shadows from the light that were on the walls and I knew I needed to take a picture of it. The wall leads your eyes from the top to the bottom and then curves to change the direction you are looking. There a several lines created by shadows that compose a different way of looking at light in this photo. The lighting has a mysterious feel because you can see part of the wall but the other part is in a shadow and you cannot see it that well.
